ABOUT NAJA:
     The National Association of Job Training Assistance (NAJA) is a non-profit association that sponsors annual conferences for the professional development of government and non-profit workforce development professionals.
     For twenty-five years NAJA has conducted conferences and workshops that are designed to enhance the operations and performance of administrators and staff personnel of local and state agencies.
     These workforce development professionals administer employment and training programs funded under the workforce investment act.
    
     NAJA offers presentations by professionals from the U.S. Department of Labor/Employment & Training Administration who provides updates on workforce investment act policies and procedures: and by volunteer presenters who have knowledge and experience in their field, and who share information and best practices with attendees from WIA offices from throughout the United States. 
Attendance are by workforce professionals from the east, southeast and southwestern areas of the United States.
     The officers associated with NAJA are volunteers. As a non-profit organization, NAJA supports regional workshops by revenue from registration fees. Any profits are used to provide scholarships for unemployed individuals to be enrolled in training programs leading to employment.
